Title: All back home from successful trips.

Date: 06/04/2008

Just a quick one for now on our last few trips and then there'll be more detailed info coming up with gallery shots, video's and trip reports coming soon.

Greenland!
I'm just back from our first 'BC expedition' to Greenland, the trip went really well, the riding, hiking and climbing where just amazing, the views where spectacular and we all had an amazing time making first ascents and descents and gathering new and great experiences.

Greenland is an inspirational place, definitely one to visit again and we barely scraped the surface of what is possible. The whole coastline is made up of mountain peaks stretching out as far as you can see surrounded by frozen seas and huge ice bergs. We were a completely self contained unit on this trip living in our base camp on a glacial shelf on a huge glacier that drops down to the frozen sea below. It was a truley amazing experience and I took loads of video and took lots of photo's. I'll write up a trip report and post everything on line as soon as I get time to edit it all. For now check out this shot of the Northern lights taken from outside our tent.

The Northern lights as seen from our camp in Greenland.

Laax!
Keith was away in Laax with the McNab Junior team the last 2 weeks, week 1 was for a training camp whilst the 2nd week saw the team competing at the Biritsh Championships where as usual they rode away with a massive assortment of medals and titles. Keith is going to write up a report on this trip and will put together a compilation of shots and footage which again will be on line shortly. in the mean time a big congratulations goes out to Keith, the coaches Dave Seeley and James Sweet and all the McNab squad for their sucess and commitment over the past few months, nice one!

Andermatt!
Mark Charlton lead the BC Voyager week in the Swiss Freeride Mecca of Andermatt. Conditions were once again fantastic and everyone had a great time. This is a spot that I really want to ride so we'll maybe have to put this one back on the calendar at some point in the future. Seems like there's endless possibilities over there with great terrain everywhere, a real must for the future and the crew had a great time out there with Mark. More to come here for sure!

Its snowing again out here and conditions in Chamonix are fantastic, I had a great time up the Grand Montets today off top tickets with the BC Summits crew getting deep fresh tracks all day long. I'll be heading either back up there tommorrow, or the Midi if the wind drops off, with the BC Intro team before I head off to Kamchatka, Russia on Thursday for our final heli trip of the 2008 season. Ralf is already out there and reports great conditions so fingers crossed it'll be a great finish to what has been an amazing winter season!

Mel is already taking bookings for the Kommunity Summer camps, the usual crew will all be out there teaching the fun and games both on and off the snow so if you fancy joining us this summer give her a call and get it on!

Right got to get editing this footage!

Laters,
Neil.
