We started our Specialist Backcountry ski and snowboard program back in 1997 when we ran our first Backcountry Intro course. Since then our Backcountry program has gone from strength to strength and today includes a multitude of different Backcountry courses for both Skiers and Snowboarders all over the world.
BC Intro group in the Valley Blanche below the Dent du Geant.
Our Backcountry ski and snowboard experience begins with our Backcountry Introduction course upon which you will learn about the equipment and the safety procedures that are essential for safe passage in this World of high peaks and endless slopes.
Following our Backcountry Introduction course the doors are open to all our other Backcountry ski and snowboard courses.

Please note that Specialist Avalanche safety and Backcountry equipment is mandatory for all our backcountry courses but not included. Backcountry Intro courses
Our Backcountry Introduction Ski and Snowboard courses are the starting
point from which you enter into the world of the serious Backcountry
Freerider and winter Mountaineer.
BC Freeride course
Building on the knowledge gained on the BC intro course this week guides
you further into the world of the serious Backcountry freerider. Available
for both Skiers and Snowboarders.
BC Advanced Freeride
A fast paced Advanced Backcountry ski and snowboard course for those that
really want to push their limits both up and down the mountain!
BC Summits
Hike and ride from some of Chamonix Mont Blanc's most famous and
inspirational summits. This is our most Advanced Backcountry course
offering big ascents and extreme descents.
Voyager Backcountry Freeride
Our Voyager Backcountry Freeride trips take our Backcountry experience to
new exciting locations both near and far!
Voyager Heli
For 2009 our Voyager Heli trips take you to the Russian destinations of
Krasnya Polyiana in the Caucus Mountains and the immense Volcanic cones of
the Kamchatka peninsula.
Voyager Expeditions
For the most adventurous out there we bring you our 'Voyager Expeditions'
were we hike, climb, ride and explore the most isolated and inspirational
regions around the globe.
Custom Weeks
Our Custom Course program offers you the chance to design and build the
course of your dreams. Our Custom Courses cater for Skiers and
