This equipment is mandatory for all courses included in our 'Freeride' program and 'Voyager Freeride' program.

Freeride course - Mandatory ‘Safety Equipment’ list.
The following equipment is compulsory for all our 'Freeride' courses and can be rented from us at a small additional cost payable at the time of your course. (*see below for rental details).

Please note that any ‘McNab Snowsports’ equipment hired and not used during the week will not be charged for. (**This does not include avalanche safety equipment).

Transceiver + Shovel and Probe – (**Avalanche safety equipment) Transceivers (either digital or Analogue) should be certified up to date and operational on 457Khz.

Backpack – For our Freeride courses a small 15/20 litres backpack suitable for carrying a shovel and probe will suffice.
